Our ranch is located in the beautiful Cariboo-Chilcotin of British Columbia, Canada. The possibilities for outdoor activities in this area are almost unlimited. We are on the Horsefly River, which hosts some of the best trophy fly-fishing and one of the largest Sockeye spawning runs in the world. Within a short drive are 10 pristine lakes for fishing and water sports and the local mountains provide endless hiking, backcountry skiing and snowmobiling opportunities.

 

Kayak Lakes or river Canoeing/Kayaking - On Horsefly River or on one of the many nearby lakes.

Swimming - In the River or in any of the nearby lakes.

Hiking - Many local opportunities.

Casual walks / Bird watching - We have many beautiful trails both along the Horsefly River and thru our forested rangelands.

Fishing - On one of the many nearby lakes or on the Horsefly River (rated as one of North America's top fly fishing rivers) Best time for lake fishing starts in early June, with the best river fishing starting in July.

Gold Panning - A short hike up the Black Creek to a historic placer mine.

Mountain Biking - If you like to ride, you'll love it here.

X-country Skiing / Snowshoeing - Our forested range trails and open pasture lands offer a wide variety of opportunities.

Watch the Salmon Spawn!

Every fall, millions of fish make the long trek from the Pacific ocean all the way up the Fraser River into the Horsefly River where they were born. It is one of the largest and most crucial Sockeye runs in the world. See the salmon spawn - an unforgettable experience!
